Quito Kitchen Product Packaging Design Contest
I created these package designs as part of a contest in the Yes, I'm a Designer Community. I was not selected, but I learned a lot and am happy with the way the designs turned out.
The Logos
The client was interested in having some influence from Ecuadorian Amazon culture in the design. For this, when designing the logos, I researched Ecuadorian iconography for inspiration. I used AI (Midjourney, Recraft, and Adobe Illustrator) to get inspiration before designing the logos from scratch using Adobe Illustrator.

These are the final three I created, although I didn't end up using the first logo in the final packaging designs.
The Patterns
The client was also interested in having a scaly spotted pattern to give the boxes a subtle reptilian feel based on the number of interesting and colorful reptiles present in the Ecuadorian Amazon. I created the following patterns in Adobe Illustrator and chose from them while creating the final packaging designs.
Design Collection 1: Serpent Spectrum
The client also requested that the product title be in a neon style font in white and that bright neon colors made up the packaging. To that end, I combined these elements in the first of two collections of the four products in the kitchen packaging design contest.
Design Collection 2: Diamond Scales
